We have disabled access to the practice via a portable ramp. The Practice is on a single floor and wheelchair friendly throughout
which includes the Disabled Toilet that will accomodate a wheelchair.
Nervous patients
We appreciate that many people are frightened of visiting the dentist or at times even avoid visiting the dentist altogether. Our team is trained and well experienced in dealing with nervous patients and helping them overcome their anxieties.
Good communication is one of our keys for dealing with nervous patients. Our experience shows that our patients feel much more relaxed and calm about their treatment if we have a discussion about it in a relaxed environment prior to treatment.
All our patients are encouraged to ask questions to help dispel any fears that they may have regarding their treatment.
However, if you are very anxious we have a highly trained team who can provide treatment under conscious sedation.

Meet the team
Everyone at Hadley Wood Dental is committed to providing you with the very best in dental healthcare. Our dental team bring a wealth of experience to the practice and have individually obtained high standards of professional qualifications in their respective fields.
The General Dental Council (GDC) is the regulatory body of the dental profession in the United Kingdom. Our dentists and staff adhere strictly to the GDC regulations governing the profession as set out in their publication “Standards for the Dental Team”. Dr Taimoor Kamran Principal Dentist
Taimoor is a postgraduate clinical teacher and examiner at King’s College London Dental institute, is a fellow and registered speaker for International Team for Implantology (ITI) and an accredited mentor for the Straumann dental implant system. He has a keen interest in computer-assisted implant surgery, a field in which his training started from the world renowned Harvard School of Dental Medicine (Boston, USA). Taimoor regularly lectures on various topics relating to implant and aesthetic dentistry nationally and internationally. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and sons and playing a bit of golf in his spare time.

Dr Garber and Dr Halmer qualified together at U.C.H. in 1984 and set up their partnership in 1993, when they bought their first Practice in Harlow. At one time they were running a group of 12 Practices, but are now concentrating on just 7 sites (6 of these are in the South West).
Even before opening the Hadley Wood Practice he was part of the local community being one of the founding members of the Hadley Wood & Wingate Football Club. That was 12 years ago – currently he is Chairman of the club which has grown to 19 teams covering all ages.
